This Medley woven wrap comes to our library via our parent organization of Babywearing International. Medley wraps are no longer in production but wear similarly to other broken twill weave wraps such as Girasols – it’s a thinner weight and easy to wrap with. Our Medley is a size 6 so a great size for anyone to do multiple different carries.
Please join us at a meet up to try out this carrier and others in our growing offering of library carriers. All of our library carriers are available to members for month-long check out as well!

This addition to our library came via a generous donation from Sarah at Cari Slings – thanks Cari Slings!! Cari Slings is a NC based wrap company whose wraps are manufactured here in the US.
Caridiidae Cuacao is a size 3 – great size for doing a variety of front, hip, and back carries for any age. This particular wrap is fairly dense with a nice texture to it. It’s also on the wider side so a nice wrap for rucking bigger kids. And the color is just perfect!!

Another new addition to our lending library – the Onya Baby Cruiser SSC in Leaf/Green Umber. A big thanks to Onya Baby for the generous donation!!
The Onya is another great SSC to check out. It fits a surprising range of kiddo sizes well (starting at 15 pounds) and is safety tested to 75 pounds. The straps can be crossed in a front carry and used “backpack style” in a back carry. Features include a built in sleep hood, storage pocket, toy/key loop, sternum strap, and a padded waist belt. There’s also a nifty way to use the Cruiser as a chair harness for those on-the-go moment when a high chair isn’t handy.
If you are interested in buying your own Onya Cruiser, you can order directly from Onya or check out one of their authorized retailers.

In the market for a soft structured carrier (SSC)? You might want to check out our latest library addition – the Boba 3G Carrier! We’d like to thank Boba for their generous donation to our library!
The Boba 3G fits a wide range of wearers and kiddos and can support up to 45 pounds. Boba recommends an infant be 12 pounds before going in the Boba 3G. In a front carry, the straps are worn “reverse backpack” style (meaning they don’t cross behind you. Back carries are possible for infants who are sitting independently. The 3G also comes with a built in sleep hood, removable foot straps (to provide extra support for older children), and an adjustable chest clip.
Note: Boba is now producing the 4G (you can check it out on their website) which has a few updated features including built in support for newborns.

We are super excited to have our first woven wrap in the lending library – a size 6 (4.6 meter) Colimacon & Cie “Miel & Malice” Woven Wrap!!
A big thanks to Bean Tree Baby for the generous donation! Bean Tree Baby is Connecticut’s own baby carrier and cloth diaper store – check out their website for all sorts of goodies.
As you might guess by the name, Colimacon & Cie (or C&C as it’s commonly known) is a French company. Their Miel & Malice wraps are made of 100% organic cotton and are available in a rainbow of beautiful colors; the wraps have blunt ends (as opposed to the tapers many wraps have) and have different colored stitching on each rail to assist in wrapping. These are fantastic “work horse” wraps – they can take a beating, work for newborns to toddlers, are sturdy yet not beastly – really a great choice! And even better, they are priced a bit lower than many wovens making them a great bargain!
Our C&C Miel & Malice is a size 6 (4.6 meters) and a vibrant orange-yellow. Size 6 wraps work for pretty much everyone in one carry or another and are a great starter length.
Come try ours out at a meet up! Or, if you’d like to buy your own, you can check out the selection at Bean Tree Baby or a number of other online retailers.
If you have an action shot of our C&C Miel & Malice that you’d like to share, please let us know!
